Tauren is the first in the R series of new pedals from JOYO. The pedal produces a warm transparent overdrive that adds dynamic gain to the signal without altering the tone of the guitar. Volume, Gain and Tone controls are all you need here, you will rely on it, it's the sound of an dynamic overdrive tube amp in a box.
Ambience LED light on the front and rear sides of the unit, can be set in one of two ways: You can either set the lights to be on all the time or it can come on when the pedal is engaged. The setting is via a sunken switch on the underside of it, so you can have it set up how you prefer.
Wide range of high-gain, you can obtain various tones ranging from Boost to Distortion by adjusting the GAIN knob.
It offers more Boost and little coloration when serves as a Boost pedal. Besides, it brings those amps with great distortion into full play.
It stands out when it's been used as an Overdrive/Distortion pedal. The timbre resembles a head's Overdrive channel rather than Clean channel+Overdrive pedal. You'll draw inspiration from the marvelous dynamics, be prepared to be amazed.
LED light control switch
SYNC mode: the LED light illumines when the footswitch is turned on, otherwise the it will go out.
ALWAYS mode: the LED light is always on.
OFF mode: the LED light is off.
